There are many things to keep in mind when choosing an event hall. The first thing you should consider is the amount of people you are trying to accommodate. Don't try and pack to many people in a small room. The last thing you want to do is make your guests uncomfortable.

The second thing you want to look at is the style of the room. Try and find something that really expresses who you are. If you are looking for something plain and simple then hotels are a great way to go. Otherwise try and find a building with more character. This will give you the advantage when try to decorate, because it won't take as much decorating. Another great idea is renting an event tent. There is so much you can accent with lighting and decorations. Another great idea is to look at an old warehouse. Talk about character!

Another important thing is of course your budget. You might find something that your really like but if you don't have the budget then find something that might be a little more affordable for you. The last thing you want to do is go in debt from your wedding.
